A few years ago I created my own blend for breeding my Barbary doves and tropical doves. This eggfood predominantly consists of Orlux Gold patee yellow supplemented with Orlux Insect patee. This increases the animal protein content, which is immen-sely important in the first days of life. All young doves display a wonderful sheen on their plumage. In addition I enrich this eggfood with a few NutriBird C19-pellets. I give this blend daily to all doves during the breeding season and twice a week in the winter season.
