Already from the very start of Orlux, quality control has been a very important aspect in the whole production process. This control has always been a determining factor for the success of the Orlux products. The success of the many top breeders, who trust our products, furnishes proof of it. For many years, all procedures have been embedded in a quality manual based on the GMP principles (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Raw materials control
For each raw material, which has to be delivered, specific standards have been fixed. All incoming raw materials are compared with these severe quality requirements and if necessary disapproved. The use of only top quality raw materials is a first important step in the Total Quality Control (TQC).
Production process
The computer-controlled production process takes care that all ingredients are perfectly dosed. This manufacturing method guarantees optimal balanced finished products. Moreover, each batch receives a proper batch number and a detailed production report is drafted up. The batch number enables complete retracing of the history of each batch: batch numbers of the used raw materials, production and packaging date... A reference sample of each batch is also kept for control.
Packaging
More and more products from the brand obtain the "100 % guaranteed freshness" logo. These products are packed in light-proof and air-tight packaging of which the resting oxygen in the packages is replaced by an inert gas. This packaging technique guarantees optimal conservation of the Orlux quality products.
